Mentoring
One-on-one mentoring for creatives and changemakers looking to elevate their projects, potential and lives.

Mentoring that blends emotional support with practical steps you can carry into daily life.
Maia draws on her work as a filmmaker, writer, researcher and organizer to help people clarify their vision, rebuild their confidence and move toward the work they want to do in the world.
Together you build systems that support your creative practice and your emotional health, and an interdisciplinary toolkit for resilience, confidence, action and healing.
Who it's for
For anyone who has lost their way after loss, burnout or upheaval and wants support through a transition.
For artists, filmmakers and activists who can sense their potential impact and want a clear path toward it.
Practical structures for your creative practice, your work and your wellbeing that hold up day to day.
“Working with her has truly led me to become a more confident, clear, and engaged version of myself.”
Working with Maia over the past year and a half has been truly transformative for me. After a period of loss, confusion, and a lack of confidence in my purpose, working with her has given me the clearest understanding of my heart, mind, and purpose on this earth. Her approach to coaching blends emotional support with actionable steps to implement in your daily life that help guide you to your truest goals and dreams.
Maia helps to illuminate a bright, healthy, beautiful future for all living beings on this planet, from the natural environments she fights to protect, to someone like me, a young artist who was struggling to make her way forward, who could vaguely imagine her potential impact, but who had become lost along the way.
I went from being full of despair, unemployed, and struggling to find direction, to rediscovering who I am: spiritually, emotionally, and artistically. Through working with Maia, I've been able to create and lean on systems that support my creative practice and emotional health. This has looked like multiple published articles, a fellowship supporting my work as a filmmaker, and a clear vision for my work as a filmmaker and activist moving forward.
Working with her has truly led me to become a more confident, clear, and engaged version of myself.
Anyone who has lost their way, needs help clarifying their vision, or is in need of extra support during a transitional period of life, working with Maia is truly the most wonderful gift you could give yourself. She will leave you equipped with an interdisciplinary toolkit that builds resiliency, confidence, action, and healing.
I am eternally grateful to be a recipient of Maia's coaching and support.
